Sunday Social

Here's this weeks Sunday Social!
Don't forget to link up!

1. What is your favorite breakfast food?
I love love cereal. But, I also love a good breakfast sandwich!
Like this one from Starbucks. YUM!

2. What is the best way to spend a free day?
I would say definitely catching up on some sleep and my recorded shows all while spending time with my pups! For example, this is me trying to relax the other day had my knees up on the couch and look who comes peeking over...Diesel! :)

3. If you had an airline ticket to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I think it would be...Greece. It's just so beautiful there. I would LOVE to see it in person and not in pictures. I mean look at the water there. Insane!

4. You can only leave the house with one thing...what is it?
My cell phone! It's my life line! :)

5. How do you take your coffee?
A flavored cream for sure. Either Vanilla or Hazelnut.
If it's from Starbucks though...I get a cafe latte with soy milk and sugar free vanilla.
Tastes amazing and doesn't have a ton of calories!

***Sorry for the lack of posts lately...I had to prepare to work and get stuff ready for a fundraiser with my mom this last weekend it kept me super busy but was a major success we raised thousands of dollars for a great cause. Then this week I have a lot going on at work and the rodeo cook off which I am going to bartend at for some extra MOO-lah so I can get my shop on!***

February Ipsy Bag Review

Always so excited to get my Ipsy bag in the mail and when I got a sneak peek of what was coming this month I was SO excited. I really liked the items they chose this month.
I also LOVED the bag they came in too. They really got it right this month after last months not so great bag. (Mine was broken too.)

Here's what it looked like:
That's the super cute inside.
The outside is just pink like the darkest pink in the leopard print.
Love love it!

Here is what this months bag contained:

1. POP Beauty-Plump Pout Mini
Size: 4 g
Color: Fuchsia Freesia
Full Size Price: $16.00
Ipsy Value: $6.00
I realllly like this product. Most of all I really enjoyed the packaging. The top has a matte handle and it's small and fits inside my make up bag perfectly. As for the color, it is a gorgeous bright pink. Perfect for the coming months! A+ on this one!

2. Zoya Nail Polish
Size: .5 fl oz.
Color: Dot
Full Size Price: $9.00
Ipsy Value: $9.00
Was really excited to see another full size Zoya nail polish again in my bag!
Even more excited to see I got the polish in the color Dot which is a really pretty light pink. Again, this is going to be perfect for the next few months for Spring!

3. Tini Beauty-Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow + Base In One
Size: 0.14 oz.
Color: Violette (Ipsy Exclusive)
Full Size Price: $18.00
Ipsy Value: $18.00
This cream shadow is really nice. It's pretty soft and goes on pretty well! I'm not in love with color but it's really pretty if you like purple. I'm more of a neutral color kind of girl. But, it definitely feels really nice on the lid!

4.Skyn ICELAND-Fresh Start Mask With Ice Age Mud
Size: .28 oz. per packet
Full Size Price: $39.00 for 6 packs
Ipsy Value: $13.00
These things are really cool. I have heard really good reviews on it but I haven't had a chance to try it myself! BAD reviewer here! My skin has been on the fritz lately so I don't want to scare it into another one! But, I've heard nothing but good things!

5. J. Cat Beauty Eyelashes + Glue
1 Pair
Style: EL 05
Price Per Pair: $3.99
Lashes lashes...LOVE them. SO excited to get a pair in this bag. I think that these are a LITTTLE too crazy for an everyday wear but, they would be perfect for a night on the town for sure. Gorgeous lashes!

Approximate Ipsy Bag Value: $50.00

This month was SOO much better than last months bag. Times ten!
Can't wait to see next months! :)
Thank you for stopping by!

I Have To Vent

So, as you can see from my previous posts...I was SUPER excited to participate in the Valentine's Day Box Giveaway.
Why haven't you seen my post about what I received you ask?
Oh...because I NEVER got a box from my partner.
Lovely right?
Finally at my wits end...super disappointed and pretty frustrated.
I've tried contacting the girl numerous times...emails, commented on her blog posts etc.
Her last post being, sorry I've been MIA...but only to list reasons that wouldn't keep her from a post office.

She's so lucky to have received a really exciting box from me though.
I'm so glad I took the time to participate and send one off in the allotted time only to get SCREWED and not get one back.

I'm hoping the next one I am participating in...the Mug Swap doesn't have the same result.

I thought us bloggers were supposed to stick together and be nice to each other?

Unanswered emails, unanswered blog post comments...maybe I'll eventually hear back.
Until then..you bet you ass I'm going to keep trying because I think that's pretty crappy to do to someone.

How about DON'T sign up for something if you're just going to scam someone so blatantly.

RANT OVER.

Ready to turn this day around! :)

21st Birthday Hangover Bucket

A couple weeks ago my little sister turned the big 21!
I decided to put together a "hangover bucket" for her even though she isn't a big drinker.
She loved it!
I wanted to share it with you guys just in case you need some ideas for any of your friends turning the big 2-1! :)
Tons of pics of what it looked like...
I got the cute bucket for about $5.00 at Hobby Lobby.

Here's what I put in the bucket for her:

-Mini Liquor Bottles
-Red Bull
-Vitamin Water
-Protein Bar
-Baby Lips by Maybelline
-Gum
-Comfy Victoria's Secret Shirt
-Nailpolish
-Elf Bronzer
-Cupcake Wrappers (She loves to bake)
-Simple Face Wipes
-Candy
-Protein Drink

You could also do:

-Bottle Water
-Mini Ibuprofen
-Mouthwash
-Crackers
-Soup
-Mints
-Sanitizer

Just thought this was a really cute idea after seeing different versions of it on Pinterest!
So hopefully that gave you some good ideas!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Monday! :)

Sunday Social

Here's this weeks Sunday Social!
Don't forget to link up!

1. What are your favorite things to do on a lazy day?
Lay on the couch, hang with my furbabies and catch up on all my recorded shows!
Makes it even better when the bf is off that day too. ;)

2. What is your tv guilty pleasure?
Anything housewives and The Walking Dead.
Love Nashville right now too.

3. What is your favorite road trip music?
Oh my gosh, one of the most memorable trips I went on was when I drove to New Orleans with my friend AJ. He literally has thousands of songs on his iPod. He has every girl singer song from 2000 to now. Needless to say we sang and danced the whole way.
One of the best road trips ever.

4. What are your favorite magazines of books to read by the pool or laying around?
I am sooo obsessed with Jackie Collins books.
I think I own just about every single one that she's written.
They are considered "trash" novels but they have the BEST story lines and keep me SO interested.

5. What is your favorite snack?
Right now I'm kind of obsessed with the Spicy Buffalo Wheat Thins. Random. Haha.
I eat them with this awesome turkey cranberry salad that we get at HEB.
Not sure what it is about that combo but it's DAMN good!

Mini Sephora Haul

So yesterday I decided I wanted to go ahead and spend my Sephora Gift Cards I got for Christmas. I've been trying to decide for a while what the heck I would get...there were a few eyeshadow palettes I wanted and a couple brushes. Here's what I decided to go with:
1. Too Faced-Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Palette-HERE-$49.00
Thoughts: I haven't been this excited about an eye shadow palette in a long time.
I've been seeing this one for a while and yesterday was the first time for me to see it in person and I LOVE it. The colors are beautiful in this palette. I think my favorite thing about it though is the color at the bottom right...it's an insanely beautiful highlight color that looks awesome on the skin. It's called Champagne Truffle. GORGEOUS. BTW these shadows are made with real cocoa powder so they literally smell like chocolate. So fun!

2. Make Up Forever-Pro Finish Multi Wear Powder Foundation-HERE-$36.00
Thoughts: I got this in #127 (Golden Sand). I have always been a huge fan of their products. I ran out of my powder and saw that they had come out with this pro finish line so I wanted to try it out. I put it on for the first time this morning and I'm obsessed. My skin literally looks flawless. I don't have the smoothest skin and this stuff really smoothed my skin out and made it look so healthy. I will definitely be using this for many more times to come.

3. Sephora-PRO Precision Foundation Brush-HERE-$29.00
Thoughts: I've been looking for a super tapered brush like this for a while and thought I would give this one a try. I really really like this brush. I used it this morning to apply my under eye concealer and it really got into the creases under my eyes. I highly suggest this brush. It would really work well to apply your highlight under your eyes as well. I feel like it is definitely worth the $29.00 too. Feels really nice on the skin!

4. Anastasia-Clear Brow Gel-HERE-$22.00
Thoughts: I didn't get the full size version of  this. I had some reward points and got one of the samples. BUT, I love it. I have been using a Maybelline brow gel for a while now so I was excited to try something new. This stuff REALLY keeps my brows in place. Usually with the Maybelline they will move throughout the day but this stuff really stays. I love the Anastasia line, I'm hoping to go back to check out a few more pieces of it soon. My sister just picked up their contour kit which I didn't see in Sephora stores...I think they have it at Ulta. I'll be trying that out next! :)

Thanks for stopping by! If you have any suggestions on some products you love feel free to comment below! I'd love to hear from you!
