The Liebster Award

Woo hoo! I was nominated for a Liebster Award yesterday by Stephanie at The Dreams Weaver! So excited! :) 

For those of you who do not know what the Liebster Award is, it was started by bloggers to nominate new bloggers in order for them to gain recognition and a boost to keep them going. 

The Rules:

1. Why did you start your blog, and what does the title mean to you?

I started my blog because I wanted to get a little out of my comfort zone. I'm always so scared of being judged. Here is where I can just say what I want and do what I want and I don't have to even worry about it.

My title is just me. Sweet, Southern, and what I love...SPARKLE!

2. What is your dream job if you can do anything?

If I could do anything, I would probably want to do something like own a huge piece of land that I could have tons of animals that have been rescued. There are just so many helpless animals out there! Or I would want to run my jewelry site full time!

3. Where would your ideal vacation be?

I am dying to go overseas! Somewhere like Italy or Greece.

4. What is your go to outfit that makes you feel great?

Since it's been cold outside I usually go with a pair of leggings with a shirt sweater and boots.

5. What is your guilty pleasure?

Reality TV. I love the housewives!

6. What is your favorite season and why?

I like the winter here in Texas. I have good hair days with the cold and I love to wear all my boots!

7. What is your favorite TV show/movie?

I love love The Walking Dead and Nashville.

8. Do you like shopping? If so, what and where?

Do I like shopping?! I LOVE shopping! Anywhere and anything! Mostly home decor right now. Still getting the new house all put together.

9. What is your favorite meal to make?

I can't just pick one. I really really love to cook. 

Cupcakes are usually pretty fun though because of the decorating you get to do after!

10. Who do you look up to?

There is a few people but I really look up to my grandmother. 

She is just a great person. She has done so many great things in her time with helping others.

11. What advice can you give to new bloggers?

Don't be scared! I was so scared when I started and there was no reason for it. It's your space and your place to let your thoughts fly!
